About The Author

Tara Chace has translated more than fifty novels from Norwegian, Danish, and Swedish. She translates literature, crime, books for young adults and children, and non-fiction. Some of her recent translations include Edvard Hoem’s Haymaker in Heaven (Milkweed Editions), Katrine Engberg’s The Harbor (Gallery/Scout Press), Jan Stocklassa’s The Man Who Played with Fire (Amazon Crossing), and Line Renslebråten’s Under the Polar Ice (Fitzhenry & Whiteside). Her work has won the L.A. Times Prize and the American Scandinavian Foundation Translation Prize.
