About The Author

Nancy Doyle Palmer is a Washington, DC–born-and-based writer who has written ten screenplays, including the original version of April at Rush Hour as well as contributed to Washingtonian Magazine, O, the Oprah Magazine, The Atlantic, Maria Shriver’s Sunday Paper, and the Huffington Post. She worked at NBC News, where she met her late husband, anchor and correspondent John Palmer, and studied journalism and film at Boston University and Yale University. She is also a scriptwriter for Washington-based events and resides in Washington, DC.
