MIKE CAMPION: The Man, the Myth, the bad dinner guest.

Mike was born a poor white child in the south Phoenix ghetto and raised by an amazing single mom with no money and a whole lot of hope, and he started his first business at the tender age of 22.

Fun Fact: All of his employees quit on the first day of owning his first business.

Good times.

For the last 17 years, Mike has started, built, and sold businesses. Along with having a ton of fun, learning a lifetime of business genius, and even enjoying some pretty cool financial rewards, he has also had more than his fair share of cursing, shaking his fist at the heavens, and sitting in a ball in the corner rocking and crying. Having invested thousands of hours (and dollars) devouring books, courses, podcasts, articles, blogs, and the like on how to be a successful business owner, Mike now helps other small business owners become not-so-small business owners.

Instead of getting into a whole thing, here are some fun facts that you may or may not find interesting:

• I am an only child
• I have never been high or drunk (don’t judge!)
• I have been kicked out of casinos for counting cards (again no judging!)
• I married a wife who is way too good for me and have a son in high school that is downright ok
• I am not a fan of big taxes, big government, or the DMV
• I actually believe the Bible is God’s Word, an instruction manual, and try to follow it
• I play drums and guitar, but not well
• I love/hate golf and I am absolutely awful at it
• I have sold two businesses in the last three years for seven figures each
• I am huge Denver Broncos fan and have periodic warm feelings towards the Arizona Cardinals
