Born in Normandy, France, Michel Desmarquet (1931–2018) joined the French army after finishing high school and spent eight years in French Equatorial Africa. The extraterrestrial contact shared in Thiaoouba Prophecy occurred after he moved to Cairns, Australia, in 1972.
