He has previously illustrated 12 Curious George books. Cargill H. Alleyne, Jr, M.D. is a neurosurgeon in private practice in Augusta Georgia. He is a former Professor and Chairman of Neurosurgery at Augusta University. His honors include Castle Connolly's "Top Doctors" and America's "Best Doctors." Dr. Alleyne's bibliography includes over 500 scholarly contributions. He is a member of numerous professional organizations and is currently a Director of the American Board of Neurological Surgery. Dr. Alleyne is married to Audrey Alleyne, M.D., an anesthesiologist, and their two children, Nathan and Nicole, were the inspiration for the book series.Michael A.
