Malissa White writes comics, reads tarot, watches horror movies, plays the bass, and more from the relative comfort of Los Angeles, CA. Her works include the critically acclaimed comic NIGHTMARE, SOUNDBOX: A Kamikaze Wall Tale, “Vessel”, Grimm Tales from The Cave and more. Malissa is a contributing writer to comic publications Comicon, The Valkryies blog, and Eisner winning Panel by Panel. 
Her stories center black and brown women of color in science fiction, fantasy and horror. Sometimes Malissa writes about pain and trauma, getting it wrong and making things right. But mostly, Malissa writes about that certain joy of remembering who the fuck you are.
