About The Author

Faiz Ullah is an assistant professor in the School of Media and Cultural Studies, Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai, where he teaches courses in media studies, community media and journalism. Political economy of media, work and labour, documentary film, and participatory cultures form his core areas of research work. In the past he has worked as a news and media producer with NDTV, Reliance Media Network, and Bloomberg TV India. He is the co-translator of Intizar Husain's Dilli Tha Jiska Naam.
