Cynthia Johnstone is a former pediatric therapist and longtime writer with a background in psychology and communication. Her fiction is rooted in the rugged beauty of the natural world, exploring how wild places shape, test, and heal the human spirit. Nomad is her debut novel. She holds degrees from Loyola University Chicago and Boston College and previously worked at Massachusetts General Hospital. Cynthia lives with her family in Flagstaff, Arizona.
