As a child, Brenda Beckelman adored thrilling adventure stories—and guess what? She still does! Brenda may have five grown-up kids, a husband she’s loved for over twenty years, and a sweet pup named Skooby Boo, but she’s a kid at heart through and through.

When Brenda is not dreaming up new escapades for Walter, she is off exploring the world, tasting delicious foods (especially dessert—yum!), and learning something new. Most days, you’ll find her south of the US border, where she shares her love of language by teaching English to young children.
