About The Author

Benedikt Bösel is an agricultural economist and the founder and managing director of Gut&Bösel, a regenerative farm located near Berlin. Alongside managing organic agriculture and forestry operations, he established the Finck Foundation in 2021 with the mission to explore and advance multifunctional land use systems – such as agroforestry, holistic grazing and syntropic agriculture.

Under his leadership, the estate has become a living laboratory for innovation, offering testing grounds for agricultural startups and research projects focused on data collection, new technologies and software development.

Benedikt is a firm believer that regenerative, multifunctional land use holds the key to addressing some of the most urgent challenges of our time – from climate change and biodiversity loss to food security, social equity and public health.

Benedikt features in the six-part Disney+ series Farm Rebellion.
