TERMS & CONDITIONS

This promotion (the “Promotion”) is sponsored by Simon & Schuster (Australia) Pty Ltd (ABN 84 000 945 380) of Suite, 19a, Level 1, Building/C 450 Miller St, Cammeray NSW 2062.

OFFER VALID BETWEEN 12:00:00 AM Australian Eastern Standard Time (“AEST”) on 30/09/22 and 11:59:59 AEST on 14/11/22 or while supplies last.  ALLOW TEN TO TWELVE WEEKS FOR DELIVERY.

Beginning 30/09/22, pre-order Dawnlands by Philippa Gregory (the “Book”), and then visit https://www.simonandschuster.com.au/p/dawnlandspreordergiveaway and fill out the form to submit the required information, including your name, email address, mailing address, zip code, preorder confirmation number, retail outlet and indicate that you have read and understood these rules. (“Proof”, “Request”). Participation open only to legal residents in a State (other than South Australia) or a Territory of Australia who are at least 18 years old and have reached the age of majority in their state of residence by the date they enter the Giveaway.  Limit one Request (1) per person and per household per Giveaway. You must have a valid email and home street address (No PO Boxes).  Void outside of Australia and wherever prohibited, taxed, or restricted by law.

Upon valid submission of Proof and while supplies last, each entrant will receive one (1) PDF exclusive extract (ARV $10.00) (the “Reward”).  The Proof must be submitted electronically via the web page identified above and received by Sponsor no later than 14/11/22, at 11:59:59 AEST.  One reward will be mailed to each qualified requester at the address submitted 10-12 weeks after the Promotion ends.  

No refunds, exchanges, or substitutions.  If Proof cannot be verified, offer will be void or subject to revocation. Theft, diversion, reproduction, transfer, sale or purchase of Proofs or receipts is prohibited and may constitute fraud and could result in prosecution. Not responsible for lost or damaged receipts.

Duplicate Requests by the same person will be subject to disqualification. Any other attempted form of entry is prohibited. No automatic, programmed; robotic or similar means of entry are permitted. All Requests become the sole and exclusive property of the Sponsor. Only fully completed Request forms are eligible. Receipt of Requests will not be acknowledged or returned.     

Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, or misdirected requests.  Sponsor, and its advertising and promotion agencies and each of their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, partners, representatives, agents, successors, assigns, employees, officers, and directors are released and held harmless from any and all liability, loss, harm, damage, injury, cost, or expense, which may occur in connection with this promotion, or possession, acceptance and/or use or misuse of Reward.  Rewards are not redeemable in any manner other than provided herein.  Requests from clubs or organizations and requests not complying with all offer requirements will not be honored.  Any fraudulent submission will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. 

Sponsor is not responsible for: (i) technical, hardware, software, telephone or other communications malfunctions, errors or failures of any kind; (ii) lost or unavailable network connections, web site, Internet, or ISP availability, unauthorized human intervention, traffic congestion, incomplete or inaccurate capture of Requested information (regardless of cause); (iii) lost, late, illegible, stolen, invalid, unintelligible, misdirected, failed, incomplete, technically corrupt or garbled Requests, which will be disqualified; (iv) jumbled or delayed computer transmissions which may limit one’s ability to enter the Giveaway; (v) any injury or damage to participant’s or any other person’s computer relating to or resulting from participating in this Giveaway or downloading any materials in this Giveaway; (vi) or for problems of any other kind whether mechanical, human, or electronic.  The “authorized account holder” is the natural person assigned an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted address.  Each potential winner may be required to show proof of being the authorized account holder.

Australian Consumer Law and corresponding legislation in State jurisdictions in certain circumstances imply mandatory conditions and warranties into consumer contracts (“Consumer Warranties”). These Official Rules do not exclude or limit the application of the Consumer Warranties. Other than the Consumer Warranties, Sponsor and the Promotion Entities disclaim all warranties.

Sponsor will be collecting personal data about entrants online, in accordance with their privacy policies.  This privacy policy can be found at: https://www.simonandschuster.com.au/about/privacy_policy.  By participating in the Giveaway, entrants hereby agree to Sponsors collection and usage of their personal information and that they have read and acknowledge Sponsor’s privacy policies. 

Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to modify, cancel or suspend this Giveaway should a virus, bug, computer problem or other causes beyond Sponsor’s control corrupt the administration, security or proper operation of the Giveaway.
