About The Book

The beautiful Dina Delux, a scientist in the Fizz division at Popso Cola is on the verge of creating a formula that will make soda 50% fizzier, keeping it carbonated longer than any other brand on the market. A breakthrough like this would put all the competition out of business in a heartbeat. Popso's main rival Fizz One Cola hears the rumors about the discovery, and they activate their best man, Jon Pyle, to take care of the situation. His orders are to convince Dina to switch sides, and if that fails, to eliminate her. However, after they meet the attraction is undeniable and a third option kicks in, one which triggers repercussions from both sides.

About The Authors

Jimmy Palmiotti is a powerhouse American comic book writer, screenwriter, and award‑winning character creator whose fearless storytelling has helped redefine modern Marvel and DC. A driving force behind Event Comics, Black Bull Entertainment, Marvel Knights, and his current company Paperfilms—co‑founded with his partner Amanda Conner—Palmiotti has left an unmistakable mark on titles like Painkiller Jane, Daredevil, Harley Quinn, and Jonah Hex. He currently can be seen on Deadly Tales of the Gunslinger, Punisher, and Pop Kill for Mad Cave Studios. His creations continue to leap into feature films, television, animation, and video games, cementing him as a major industry architect.

Dave Johnson, a Pittsburgh native who moved to Georgia during childhood, grew up alongside his older sister. Although he initially discovered comics at a young age, his passion for the medium was reignited in the late 1970s, inspired by Chris Claremont and John Byrne's iconic run on The Uncanny X-Men. Citing John Byrne and Michael Golden as key influences, Johnson's artistic journey began with studying painting at the Art Institute of Atlanta. However, his focus shifted toward illustration, captivated by its ability to convey information instantly through a single image. Speaking at WonderCon in 2009, he compared this approach to designing billboards: "You have five seconds to deliver a message." This philosophy shaped his approach to comic book covers, emphasizing bold, simple designs that instantly communicate their essence.
