Sam Lake was the lead script and story writer on the first two Max Payne games, known for their neo-noir authenticity and pulp style. Lake continues to write for Remedy Games, including plotting the story and the script for their 2010 psychological action thriller Alan Wake and the upcoming Quantum Break.
