About The Book

Living with Crohn’s Disease highlights one woman’s turbulent journey while living with the disease. Nichola has endured over 25 surgeries and many near-fatal incidences, yet she continues to smile and feel blessed to be alive.

The book was written to assist other sufferers and their carers in all areas of living with inflammatory bowel disease, both from a conventional/allied health perspective but also through a holistic approach, showing them how to improve life while enduring this illness.
It covers:
  • diet
  • conventional medicine
  • holistic therapy
  • work/life balance
  • living with an ileostomy or colostomy
  • tips for carers, families and loved ones and resources
Nichola has written this very practical guide with determination, education and enormous love, sharing her own life experiences. Her professional medical team has also provided valuable input.

Surprisingly, Nichola is grateful for what Crohn’s disease has taught her, managing to turn adversity into opportunities and living an extremely full life.
