About The Book

Leadership Has a Speed Limit

Everyone talks about the pace of modern leadership. Few talk about the cost. The meetings that accomplish nothing, the promotions that feel hollow, the creeping sense that busyness has replaced progress. Most leaders know something is off. They just haven’t slowed down long enough to name it.

In Dirt Road Leadership, Richard Causey draws on forty years of professional experience and a childhood spent on a South Carolina dirt road to make a case for patience, reflection, and presence as leadership essentials. Through vivid personal stories and hard-earned coaching insights, he reveals how the habits we build when no one is watching determine the leaders we become.

Readers will discover:
  • Why tunnel vision keeps talented people stuck at $50 an hour in their own imaginations
  • How distraction steals opportunity before you even notice it’s gone
  • The difference between motivation and discipline when results depend on showing up
  • What it takes to earn permission to lead, rather than assuming authority

Grounded in real experience and free of corporate jargon, Dirt Road Leadership is for anyone ready to trade the fast lane for something that gets you where you actually want to go.

About The Author
