Meyne Wyatt and Dave Warner to narrate Belief by Marlion Pickett

The audiobook of Marlion Pickett’s memoir Belief will be dually narrated by acclaimed actor Meyne Wyatt and author Dave Warner.

Meyne is a Wongutha-Yamatji writer and actor, appearing on both the stage and screen. He is also an accomplished artist and his self-portrait recently won the 2020 Archibald Packing Room Prize in this year’s Archibald Prize.

‘Marlion has an inspiring story and this was an inspiring read. Was great to be a part of bringing this to life,’ said Wyatt.

Co-narrator Dave Warner is an award-winning novelist with nine published adult crime novels and a number of non-fiction books on sport and music. He also worked closely with Pickett on the book.

‘I was thrilled to be a part of writing and narrating this wonderful story,’ said Warner.

Belief is the unforgettable story of Marlion Pickett’s triumph over adversity. From troubled kid and time spent in jail to AFL Grand Final glory, this is the story of a life picked up, piece by piece, through Pickett’s own belief in himself and those around him who believed in him too.

Belief will be released in hardback, ebook and audiobook on 1 November.
