So hurray, I am on tv! Well, near as damnit. I've got my own VYou account, which means as I sit in my workroom, you can ask me anything you like and I'll answer you in video form.

I've already had some great questions about my books and about writing in general. I've also been asked how to stop tights going baggy at the knees, and whether a badger could beat a baboon in a straight fight. See, I am the font of all knowledge.

Whoo-hoo! This is the week my new novel, A Mother's Guide to Cheating, is published, and to mark the event I'm doing a short blog tour.

Over the next month I'll be a guest on the writing blogs of five friends. The first leg is here: Quiller's Place: The View from the Spire, and features an interview about the way I used photographs to structure the novel, and how my characters deliberately mis-remember selected incidents to suit their own purposes.

There's also the chance for readers to win a signed copy of A Mother's Guide to Cheating. All you have to do is write 150 words... see more
